I decided that I really want to take my scrapping to the next level. I don't want my layouts to be hit or miss anymore. So I am going to start studying design principles, so I can make more pleasing layouts. I am taking two online classes. One is Design Workshop by Lisa Dickinson at Ella Publishing and the other is Building Pages by Debbie Hodges at Get It Scrapped. I am happy with my pages, but I want to improve and I believe that I have room for growth. This is the first layout using a grid design. It is the first lesson in Lisa's book. I really love it. First time I have ever used a grid before :-)
All of the pp pieces came from this kit except for the background. Journaling: If you knew how much grandma loved you, you'd know you were the luckiest girl in the world.

Keianna! I LOVE this! Amazing work! Did these papers come from a Noel kit?
Congrats on the new resolution and we all sometimes need to kick it up a notch, this is a great layout!!! love those hearts, very nicely done and designed!
so very cute!! love it!
♥ your hearts grid on this layout, Keianna! I think your designs and layouts are terrific, but it's fun to do new things by taking online classes (I've taken quite a few of Debbie's and learned something new every time). Have fun "in school"!
Oh Keianna, that's spectacular! Love those hearts. And the photo is so precious.
love those different hearts!!
GREAT page! Love it! Thanks for mentioning Lisa Dickinson's Design Workshop eBook. It really is a fab resource: http://ellapublishing.com/catalog/ebooks/design-workshop
Cute layout!
Do you know if Color Your Memories Kit Club is still offering kits?
Thanks!
Lina, we aren't offering kits anymore. I just haven't taken the side link down.
I saw you post over at Noel Mignon and thought I recognized you from Personal Scrapper back when I first joined over there. (That's where I got your blog address.) I have enjoyed looking at all of your layouts. I also scrap some 8.5x11 in addition to 12x12. LOVE seeing your beautiful daughter - she is just adorable. (Congratulations on being a new mom!)
It looks like you don't update your blog anymore but I still love this page !
